Hi gorgeous Consumers!

Celine Dion makes me want to be Canadian just so I can call her a National Treasure. I guess I could call her an International Treasure but it doesn’t hit the same. My bestie Ariana and I just watched Titanique yesterday and I couldn’t recommend it more: it is joyful, nostalgic, hilarious, and a perfect show with so many dazzling little details. We nearly made ourselves sick from laughing so hard. The show revolves around Queen Celine, but if you can’t make it to see the show, I’m sharing two of my favorite clips of her:
This 1999 performance is one of her best if you want over an hour of Celine, but this excerpt is just pure perfection. We remember Celine as a ballad singer but do we remember her as a disco dancer?! Watch this and be reminded. The bit of her dance break from 2:05 - 2:12 is absolutely me after two cocktails at any gathering with good music.
TV Series: I am perpetually years late to watch a series that everyone has already discussed, and I am committed to this bit now having watched the entirety of HBO’s Barry in about two weeks time. AirFrance has all of Season 1 on their planes which is how this started — the first season is a triumph. It felt like the most perfect season of television I’ve seen. Clever writing, incredible bursts of humor amidst dark subject matter, characters who I instantly became obsessed with… I haven’t been hooked like this in quite some time. I don’t care to reveal much of the plot here, so just give it a go. Bill Hader is incredible and I’m grateful for his brain.
A Love Poem: I feel like it’s been too long since I’ve last shared poetry on here, but it’s time to be gushy and mushy again. This poem feels like a tender hug and the warmth of any and all love — platonic love, romantic love, familial love, the love of a pet! I want to read it over and over again.
Joyful Internet Content:
At least I can say that T-Pain is a national treasure. I would react this exact same way, and bless this woman for hashtagging ‘mansion in wiscansin’ in her caption:

Are you a LEOTG airport person? I certainly am. I need to lay eyes on the gate immediately after security — maybe more than once!

Last but not least, god bless Kerrmama on TikTok who is doing some Emmy-worthy impressions of Timbaland and a few other singers. I can’t unsee Timbaland in any of her other videos but I love them all. Her smirk is incredible.

The accuracy of this one - you might have to watch the OG music video to jog your memory:
I love you, this is the only way I know how to end.

this woman’s genuine love-scream for T-Pain will never leave my brain and I am so okay with that
International Treasure is a keeper
