Hi y’all!

I’m so sorry for the delay in your Friday Fives! It has been an intense, hectic, and stressful time and I haven’t been able to write as much as I would like.

I’m looking for a new newsletter platform after reading this interview with Substack’s CEO, which involved this terrible exchange:

I have a choice in where I host my newsletter — and this choice feels more clear cut than on other social media platforms. These simple questions above warrant simple, straightforward answers. I don’t make money from this newsletter, but if I ever get to a place where I’d have a paid subscription offering, I don’t feel great about sharing my coin with them. Shout out to Nilay Patel for the stellar reporting here — there’s a video if this interaction if you care to cringe watching it.

I’ll be looking through other options (feel free to send any if you have recs) and hope you don’t mind the delay too much!
